Sunset Junction Coffee Shop

It still looks just like K2, both inside and out, but this month Sunset Junction Coffee Shop moved into the space that was previously designed to resemble a retro American diner. K2 abruptly shuttered late last year, and the space remained masked by plywood until recently. Jenna Turner, co-owner of the updated Chango Coffee in Echo Park and Susina Bakery & Cafe on Beverly Boulevard, is behind SJCS and the eatery currently serves breakfast and lunch (egg plates, sandwiches, salads, pastries) from 7AM to 3PM. Dinner is planned for the future.
